Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts must be original research papers that make a significant contribution to the advancement of pharmaceutical sciences and clinical pharmacy. Authors are required to submit their papers electronically through the JSFK online submission system.
The corresponding author must ensure that the manuscript is not under review by another journal simultaneously. Manuscripts that fail to comply with these submission procedures will not be considered.

General Manuscript Guidelines

  • Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.

  • JSFK does not accept manuscripts that have been previously published or are under review elsewhere.

  • Revised or extended versions of seminar/symposium presentations may be accepted if disclosed at the time of submission.

  • Manuscripts must be free from plagiarism and self-plagiarism.

Manuscript Template

Authors must format their manuscripts according to JSFK's writing guidelines before submission. The template and detailed instructions are available on the journal’s website.

Manuscript Structure

  1. Title
Concise and informative, avoiding abbreviations and formulas where possible.

  2. Author Names and Affiliations
Include department, organization, city, and country, without academic titles. One author should be designated as the corresponding author, along with an email address.

  3. Abstract and Keywords
Abstract should be concise (maximum 200 words), outlining the purpose, main results, and conclusions. Include 3–5 keywords after the abstract.

  4. Introduction
State the study’s objectives and provide sufficient background without presenting results.

  5. Methods
Clearly describe the research design and methodology.

  6. Results and Discussion
Present results clearly and concisely. Discuss findings in context—do not simply repeat results. This section may be combined.

  7. Conclusion
Summarize key findings in a separate section or as part of the discussion.

  8. References
Only list sources cited in the manuscript, formatted using APA 6th Edition.

General Formatting

  • Use Book Antiqua, 10 pt font, single line spacing; abstract should be 9 pt.

  • Manuscript length: Maximum 12 pages, including references and appendices.

  • Abstracts must be written in English, with 3–5 keywords.

  • Non-standard foreign or regional terms should be italicized.

  • Use APA 6th Edition for in-text citations and reference list.

Specific Formatting

  1. Equations/Formulas
Number consecutively, aligned to the right.

  2. Software Output
Summarize results in tables, not as raw outputs.

Tables and Figures

  • Use Arabic numerals. Table titles appear above; figure titles below.

  • Include source below tables/figures if applicable.

  • Tables must be clean—no vertical lines. Notes and sources should appear beneath.

Acknowledgments

Acknowledgments, including grant funding, should be included in a separate section before the references, not as footnotes.

Subject and Author Index

Authors are encouraged to include an index of key subjects/terms and cited authors, listed by family name and first name.
